FAQ

  • The mouse arrow shakes, moves strangely or does not move at all.

Try using the mouse on a different surface or use a mousepad. Clean the sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a dry cloth. Improve wireless performance.

  • How do I configure my mouse buttons for left/right handed usage?

Follow the steps in the mouse settings page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-mouse-settings-e81356a4-0e74-fe38-7d01-9d79fbf8712b

  • Is it required to turn off the product to save power?

This product uses standby (sleep) mode to save battery power. When the product is not moving or there is no signal from the USB receiver, it will turn sleep-mode on, to save battery power. To make sure that there is no signal still going from the computer to the product, when the product is not used (since some computers continuously power their USB-ports, even when the computer itself is switched off), We recommend to doublecheck the power management options of the USB-port, if switching the product on/off is not an option.

  • My product is faulty. What do I do?

We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available. For full warranty conditions you can consult: https://www.trust.com/support/warranty

  • I have lost/broken the USB-receiver. How do I receive a new USB-receiver?

It's not possible to provide a replacement receiver for this product. This is due to the fact that during production the product and receiver receive a unique code, so the product can only communicate with the bundled original receiver.

  • How can I change the button functions?

This mouse uses a generic driver of Windows, which doesn't provide a possibility to adjust button functions. However, you can try with software which is available on internet to configure the buttons. http://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/XMouseButtonControl.htm Please note that this solution is not official, as there is no Trust software available for programming the buttons, and therefore it is not supported, nor is proper functioning of the software guaranteed.

  • Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products. A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.

  • My mouse is installed correctly, but not functioning on my Windows 10 laptop.

First test if the issue only persists on the laptop, and not on a desktop computer. If the issue persists only on the laptop, we would advise to check if the mouse receives (enough) power from the laptop to function by following the steps below. Check the functioning of the mouse between each step. Check the power saving option of the USB-port Device Manger>USB>right-click on the device>Properties>uncheck: Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power Check the hardware, mouse and wireless connections Connect the receiver to a different port. If possible, try the USB port at the back of the computer, since they typically have more power available. Replace the battery. Reestablish wireless connection by unplugging the receiver when the computer is on, then waiting for at least 10 seconds before plugging the receiver back in. Disable the fast startup option. This will initialize all drivers on startup, so the time needed to start the computer might be longer. Press the Windows key and X at them same time>Power Option. Click Choose what the power button does. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable. Untick the box for Turn on fast startup (recommend ed)>Click Save changes to save and exit. Restart the computer.

  • I just bought it and can't find the USB-receiver. Where is it?

Depending on the version of your mouse, the receiver is stored either inside the product (bottom) itself, or inside the battery compartment of the mouse.
