How to install a wireless (USB receiver) mouse?

1. Slide the cover off the base of the mouse to take out the USB-receiver. If you cannot find the USB receiver then please refer to this article.
2. Connect the USB-receiver to a free USB port of  the computer without using a hub or extension cable.
3. Place a full battery or batteries in the battery compartment and close the compartment.
4. Switch the mouse on with the switch situated at the base of the mouse..
5. The computer will recognize the mouse and install the built-in driver automatically. This might take a few moments.
6. The mouse is ready to use.
