- Slide the cover off the base of the mouse to take out the USB-receiver. If you cannot find the USB receiver then please refer to this article.
- Connect the USB-receiver to a free USB port of the computer without using a hub or extension cable.
- Place a full battery or batteries in the battery compartment and close the compartment.
- Switch the mouse on with the switch situated at the base of the mouse..
- The computer will recognize the mouse and install the built-in driver automatically. This might take a few moments.
- The mouse is ready to use.
