I recommend disconnecting the Smart Card reader from the Mac, restarting the Mac, and when the operating system is fully loaded, reconnecting the reader to another USB port. Check in 'About This Mac - System Report - Hardware - USB' to see if the reader is installed as NC0001.

We advise checking if the reader is recognized as NC001 on Mac.

We recommend connecting the reader directly to a free USB-A port; if you are using an adapter, I suggest trying with another one.

To use it, you will need to install the software provided by the governmental organization for which you will be using the digital signature. This software is not provided by Trust but varies depending on the organization.
