Question: my Smartcard reader doesn't recognize the PIN of my CNS or doesn't work with my CNS

The card reader does not use external drivers for installation but the standard Windows drivers (appears as Microsoft Usbccid Smartcard Reader in device manager). I recommend disconnecting the card reader from the PC, checking if all Windows updates are installed and updating the drivers of the USB ports. Restart your PC and reconnect the card reader when Windows is fully loaded. To use the card reader, you must install the software of the government agency in question for which the digital signature will be used. This software is not provided by Trust, but varies by government agency.

We recommend having the CNS activated at your ASL/tax office or the government agency for which you need the digital signature in order to use it.

Test the card reader also with another computer to assure it works correctly.
