FAQ

  • My product is faulty. What do I do?

We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available. For full warranty conditions you can consult: https://www.trust.com/support/warranty

  • Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products. A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.

  • How do I install the webcam?

The webcam functions with the built-in functionality of the computer. To install. - Connect the webcam to the computer. - On Windows 10: Make sure the microphone is allowed in the Microphone Privacy settings to be used by applications. - Set both the webcam and its microphone as the default sound input and sound output device on the computer. - The webcam is ready to use. When you use the webcam with an application such as Teams, Zoom, Skype, you have to set the webcam and its microphone as the default sound device in the settings of that application too. For extra functionality (i.e. use of the snap shot button) the file on the website can be downloaded and installed, however this is not needed for normal functioning of the webcam.

  • I try to install the driver but my Windows 10 computer displays message "This App has been blocked for your protection"

We always try to keep our products functional for as long as possible. As a result of the quick succession of developments in this sector and the advanced age of the product, we are no longer able to keep it compatible with the frequent releases of new Windows 10 updates. One of which has resulted in this error message, that indicates that the system is preventing you from running an installation (.exe) file, such as a hardware driver. This product isn't supported on Windows 10 due to its advanced age. Therefore there are no new driver updates available. Nor can we provide information on removing this error message. There are various solutions for this message posted on the internet, including in the Microsoft forum. Please note that these solutions are not official, as there is no driver update available and therefore are not supported, nor is proper functioning guaranteed.
