My computer does not recognize the Smart Card Reader. What can I do?

Make sure the smart card is inserted with the chip facing up.
On newer cards, the chip may be located on the back side, so you need to turn over the card before inserting it in the card slot.

There is no external driver needed for this device. Once the device is connected, your system installs its own built-in system driver for it.

The function of the DNIe Card reader device is basically to read the DNI or Smartcard.

Depending on the public service that you want to connect to, a specific software must be installed. These programs are provided by the services themselves and are usually available from the web pages of each of these services. To use the card reader, you must install the software of the government agency in question for which the digital signature will be used. 

This software is not provided by Trust, and varies by government agency.
