FAQ

  • The mouse arrow shakes, moves strangely or does not move at all.

Try using the mouse on a different surface or use a mousepad. Clean the sensor on the bottom of the mouse with a dry cloth. Improve wireless performance.

  • How do I configure my mouse buttons for left/right handed usage?

Follow the steps in the mouse settings page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-mouse-settings-e81356a4-0e74-fe38-7d01-9d79fbf8712b

  • I get the wrong letters and/or symbols when typing on my computer.

If your keyboard isn't typing the correct characters, you may have the incorrect input language selected. Please check the language preference settings of your system. If the correct language is not present, add this language to the system. If you use more than one language on your system, make sure to select the correct one. Set the correct language as explained in the keyboard settings page https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/manage-the-input-and-display-language-settings-in-windows-12a10cb4-8626-9b77-0ccb-5013e0c7c7a2

  • Is it required to turn off the product to save power?

This product uses standby (sleep) mode to save battery power. When the product is not moving or there is no signal from the USB receiver, it will turn sleep-mode on, to save battery power. To make sure that there is no signal still going from the computer to the product, when the product is not used (since some computers continuously power their USB-ports, even when the computer itself is switched off), We recommend to doublecheck the power management options of the USB-port, if switching the product on/off is not an option.

  • My product is faulty. What do I do?

We offer a 'return to retailer' warranty on our products. In case of a defect, you can return the product to your retailer with failure description, proof of purchase and all accessories. During the warranty period you will receive a replacement product from the retailer if available. For full warranty conditions you can consult: https://www.trust.com/support/warranty

  • I have lost/broken the USB-receiver. How do I receive a new USB-receiver?

It's not possible to provide a replacement receiver for this product. This is due to the fact that during production the product and receiver receive a unique code, so the product can only communicate with the bundled original receiver.

  • Where is your service center? Or where can I send my product to be repaired?

Unfortunately, we do not have service centers to repair products. A defective product should be replaced by your point of purchase during the warranty period.

  • Why does the battery drain fast?

Battery life depends on many variables including usage, quality of batteries and environmental factors (such as distance to receiver, nearby metallic objects, surface on which the product is used, etc. etc.). This product uses standby (sleep) mode to save battery power. When the product is not moving or there is no signal from the USB receiver, it will turn sleep-mode on, to save battery power. Make sure that when the battery is draining very fast, that there is no signal still going from the computer to the product, when the product is not used. Some computers continuously power their USB-ports, even when the computer itself is switched off. You can check this in the Power Management settings of the USB-port.

  • How do I install this keyboard/mouse set?

First doublecheck the batteries, then connect the receiver to the computer, and wait until Windows recognizes it and installs the built-in driver. This might take a few moments. After which a pop-up screen is shown with Device Setup Installing device. When this screen has disappeared the installation is finished and the product is ready for use.

  • Where can I find the caps-lock, num-lock and scroll-lock indicators?

This keyboard doesn't have caps-lock, num-lock and scroll-lock indicators. It has an indicator for low battery.

  • How do I change the dpi (cursor speed) of the mouse?

By pressing the DPI-button you will change the DPI. There is no visual indication for the DPI selection, other than that the pointer speed on the screen will be faster or slower, depending on the DPI that is selected.

  • How to change the FN-keys?

The keys have a special function defined by the operating system. Whether these keys can be changed depends on your computer and operating system. We would advise to consult your computer's manual for more information.

  • I just bought it and can't find the USB-receiver. Where is it?

Depending on the version of your mouse, the receiver is stored either inside the product (bottom) itself, or inside the battery compartment of the mouse.

  • The mouse connects to the receiver, but the keyboard will not. What can I do?

    - Remove the USB-receiver from the computer - Remove the battery from the keyboard for at least 10 seconds. - Restart the PC - Insert the battery into the keyboard - The red LED on the battery will light up briefly - Press ESC + Q while this LED is lit. - Now the LED should start flashing. - Plug the USB-receiver into the PC within 5 seconds and wait until the LED stops blinking. - The keyboard is now connected again.

  • I have trouble installing the mouse and/or keyboard.

We advise to doublecheck the batteries, then re-install the keyboard and mouse. To re-install: - Disconnect the receiver from the computer - Restart the computer - When the computer has fully restarted, connect the USB-receiver to the computer. - Wait until Windows recognizes it and installs the built-in driver. This might take a few moments. - After which a pop-up screen is shown with Device Setup Installing device. - When this screen has disappeared the installation is finished and the product is ready for use.

  • I can't use the numerical keypad part of the keyboard.

We advise to check the following: - Doublecheck that Numlock is enabled. - Mouse keys are turned off (control panel ease of access change how your keyboard works). - The keyboard driver is up to date and no errors are visible in the Device Manager.
